The Lake County Metropolitan Enforcement Group (LCMEG) brings law enforcement agencies together to investigate illicit drug trafficking, gang activity, and weapons offenses across Lake County.
Who we are
One mission. Multiple agencies.
LCMEG is a multi-jurisdictional task force supported by officers assigned from participating law enforcement agencies. We collaborate with local, county, state, and federal partners, and work closely with the Lake County State’s Attorney’s Office to address criminal activity that crosses jurisdictional boundaries.
